Why Craft Mosaic Lounge
Every session is small on purpose. You get a real table, real glass, and a working artist beside you the whole time — not a lecture, a studio.
Glass, grout, tools, and your work surface — all set up before you sit down.
A working artist stays at your table the whole session, start to finish.
Everyone leaves with the thing they made. That's the whole point.

See The Collection"Mosaic doesn't forgive a rushed hand — every piece you place is a small decision. That's exactly why an afternoon at the table feels like it resets something." Studio Founder, Craft Mosaic Lounge
Come As You Are
No occasion needed. Bring a friend, a sister, or a whole crew — we set the table, pour the tea, and always make room for one more.
What's In Your Kit
Glass, color-sorted tesserae, adhesive, tweezers, gloves — everything is already waiting at your seat. Never touched glass before? Perfect. A working artist walks you through every step.
Take Home The Glow
Every guest finishes a one-of-a-kind piece and carries it out the door. Not a souvenir — something that lights up your evenings for years.

Questions
A beginner mosaic workshop usually starts with picking a glass base — a lamp, vase, or candle holder — then choosing colored glass tesserae and gluing them into a pattern on the surface. No prior art experience is needed; an instructor walks you through cutting, placing, and spacing pieces, and a typical first session runs about two hours.
Most mosaic classes run 90 minutes to two hours, which is enough time to fully design and glue your piece. If your workshop involves grouting, that final step is usually finished at home once the glue has cured for about 12 hours.
No. Mosaic art is one of the most beginner-friendly crafts — you're placing pre-cut glass pieces rather than cutting raw materials yourself, and an instructor stays at the table to help with spacing, color, and technique the whole session.
Craft Mosaic Lounge is a traveling mosaic and glass art studio that runs hands-on workshops across the United States. Guests design and assemble their own glass piece — lamps, vases, and candle holders among them — at small-group tables led by a working artist.
Pricing for a mosaic workshop starts at $79 per seat (plus 8.25% Texas sales tax), which includes your glass base, all materials, tools, and instruction. Group and private event pricing is different and is quoted per headcount.
Craft Mosaic Lounge is a pop-up studio that moves between U.S. cities, with new dates and locations announced monthly. Check the Events page for the next sessions on the calendar.
A paint-and-sip class has everyone painting the same design on canvas, finished in one sitting. A mosaic workshop is more tactile and open-ended — you're arranging individual glass pieces into your own pattern on a three-dimensional object, like a lamp or vase, which you keep and use afterward.
